The i24ABC has ethics committee approval from the Tasmanian Health and Medical Human Research Ethics Committee (reference H0015062).

In order to participate as a contributing centre in the i24ABC, the data collected must have been undertaken in a research project that received the approval of a local ethics committee or institutional review board.

Contributing centres will be asked to submit data files to the Austrian Institute of Technology GmbH, Vienna, Austria, which has expertise in dealing with data files generated using the Mobil-O-Graph device.

Contributing centres will be asked to provide individual demographic and clinical characteristics using a Microsoft Excel workbook. The file will be individually prepared with the participants‘ identification numbers to coalesce with the Mobil-O-Graph data to assist data entry. All data is de-identified to protect individual privacy.

All investigators from contributing centres who fulfill the authorship criteria will have the opportunity to contribute to publications as a named author or acknowledged within the publication.
